It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Lana Ly Yun Yee, a loving mother, devoted wife, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend. Surrounded by her loving family, she departed this life with grace and serenity on August 25th at North York General Hospital.

Originally born in Guang Dong, China, Lana married Ronald Yee in Toronto where she worked as a sample maker for local fashion designers. She was a pillar of kindness and perseverance, whose generosity and compassion touched everyone she met. Her unwavering dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Lana will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate to call her a friend. Lana is survived by her children Michael, Lillian and Joyce, daughter in-law Salina, and grandchildren Danielle, Kieran, Peri, Adam and Amelia.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday September 14, 2026 at Pine Hills Funeral Home in Toronto. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Toronto Humane Society or the Toronto Wildlife Centre, reflecting Lana’s love and protection for those animals who need it most.
