Kristen Engel (née Trautmann) passed away suddenly on March 1, 2026.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Kristen was predeceased by her father-in-law, Hans Engel.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick; children, Liam (Janelle), Hanah, and Keegan; parents, Ingo and Shirley Trautmann; sisters, Kari (Ray) and Tracey-Lynn; mother-in-law, Erna Engel; sister-in-law, Susanne Engel; granddaughter, Eliza; nephews, Christopher (Lindsay) and Stephen (Kristen), Damian (Taylor); nieces, Ellen (Nick), and Lindsay; and her cherished dogs, Mikko, Maya, and Mayla.
She will be deeply missed.
A private service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1–3 PM. A celebration of life will be held in the summer for friends and family.
