Over the years, Karen managed wine stores and wasted 28 years in the dental field before coming full circle to work in the elementary school she and her siblings all attended. It was at Dovercourt Public School that she felt the most fulfilled and most appreciated, surrounded by the exceptional staff that had her back to the end.
Karen’s St Elizabeth palliative team, specifically Dr. Paolo Mazzotta, incredible nurses Kerrie and Elena and the exceptional MSW Susan Morgan, provided excellent home care, helping her achieve the quality of life she wanted and deserved. Karen will be cremated and finally get the smoking hot body she always wanted. Her remains will be interred in a niche with her late husband at Prospect Cemetery.
