It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Li, Kan Sung on July 3rd 2026, at the age of 89.

He is lovingly remembered by his three children, Kwei-Ling (Christine), Hsiang-Ling (Michelle) and Shih Chang (Donny), and son-in-laws Peter Hsiung and William Chu, and daughter-in-law Lianne Joy Chung.

He led a very simple life in India with a leather business and then running a restaurant before emigrating to Canada. The family did not have much but he always made sure his family was taken care of.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to Daniel, Caryn, Charlene, Ryan and Jordan. We will always miss his quiet demeanor and kind heart. We take comfort that he joins his beloved wife Li, Ai Chao in heaven.
