It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dearest Mother Carol “Julia Carolyn Brown” on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at the age of 86.
We find solace in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of her Saviour and truly rejoicing up in Paradise, as she was such a faithful servant of the Lord.
She was born in Port Union, Newfoundland on October 30th,1939. She was predeceased by her Father William “Billy” Pardy, her Mother Lillian Belle White, and her Sister Florence Collins.
Carol was the loving Mother of 4 Children … Jennifer (Paul) Neil (Darlene) Heather (Eric) and Paul (Elizabeth).
She was blessed with 10 precious Grandchildren … Jesse, Jaime, Kyle, Jodi, Alyssa, Amber, Cody, Lance, Sofia and Angela. As well as 4 Great Grandchildren … Roman, Thomas, Elora and Mia, along with many Nieces, Nephews and extended family.
She was very loved, and showed her genuine love to each of her family members and everyone so deeply, including people that she would meet waiting on a bus stop bench with her. She will be deeply missed by everyone that was blessed to have known her, and will be cherished in their hearts.
Carol was a public school teacher and a Salvation Army Officer in a small town in Newfoundland, then came to Ontario in the early 1960’s to grow her family in North York and the Scarborough area. She briefly worked at Bell Canada & Towers Department Store but she treasured most being a stay at home Mom caring for her children and occasionally babysitting others. She also volunteered her free time at our local public school in the Kindergarten class. She was a devoted member of the Peoples Church in North York and volunteered in the Nursery, caring for children. She pursued her career as the local Avon Lady for 40 years plus in Scarborough.
Our beloved Mother Carol was a kind, gentle, humble and loving soul that taught us all the importance of kindness and forgiveness. We will all truly miss her presence here, and forever cherish all of our wonderful memories together. May you now rest eternally in Heavenly Peace Mom, and Gramma. Until we meet again … We love you now and will forever and always, with all of our hugs and kisses to you xoxo.
In Lieu of flowers we kindly ask you to please consider making a donation in Carolyn's name to a charity or a religious denomination of your choice, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Psalm 23
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
