We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Judith Patricia Jones-Thomas, who left us on May 27, 2026, at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 65. Judith was a devoted wife to Paul Thomas for an incredible 40 years and a nurturing mother to her four children: Sean Benjamin Thomas (Roshina Hall), Sheldon Montgomery Thomas (Akua Dwomoh-Thomas), Sydney Alexander Thomas, and Jemuel Montgomery Jones-Scott.

Judith was a cherished daughter of Clarice Jones, and her life was shaped by the memories of her father, Aston Jones, and siblings Patrick Pinnock and Audrey Jones, who preceded her in death. As a proud grandmother (Gigi), she delighted in the company of her grandchildren, Ziyon and Zekiyel. Judith’s love extended to her siblings Sonia Jones Long (George Long), Marlene M. MacKenzie (Tom O. MacKenzie), and Robert Jones. She was Aunt to Patrick Jr., Miranda, Joshua, Thomas Jr., Drucilla, Nardia, Nicardo, Narada, Nefetari and Grand Aunt to Davion and Adonis.

Judith’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed by both her immediate and extended family, along with her numerous friends. The family invites you to share in this profound loss by joining us to celebrate Judith's life at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre (7732 Mavis Road, Brampton) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 12th. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, June 13th at 10:00 AM at Kennedy Road Church, followed by interment and a reception to honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to be made to ‘Shelter Them’ in memory of Judith Patricia Jones-Thomas, a testament to her spirit of compassion and generosity.
