Jozsef Szaraz
September 23, 1932 - August 7, 2026
Jozsef, you came into this world, wrong time and wrong place. not knowing who you were and where you were going. Nobody knew what you went through as a child and as a young man, but you persevered.
Jozsef eventually participated in gymnastics, loved the arts, reading poetry, Shakespeare, classical music, philosophy and history. Always hoping for a better life, he emigrated to Canada but was always embracing his homeland, Hungary.
He then met my beautiful mom, Eva. They shared many happy years as a couple, always doting on each other. Travelled, enjoyed family events, holidays and family pets. They truly were the notebook couple.
Jozsef had no other family but grew to be our stepfather to Steve (Aiyi)(Lucie), Christina, (Ted) Nicolette (Brian)(Charles)and Hedy, (Wayne)
Grandfather of 6, Brandon (Kate), Jason (Justine), Nathan (Ricci), Teeder, Stephanie (Chris), and Perian (Ni). Added Stepfamily Iain, Sharleen, Bowen
Great Grandfather to Willow, Finley, Frankie, Jessie, Wyatt, Hudson, and Noah
And family members in Hungary
Jozsef, may you race like the horses in the meadow that you loved, spread your wings like a butterfly, be part of a symphony of your favourite classical music and enjoy the serenity of freedom.
May you find comfort in the loving arms of mom.
