Joseph Kaminski, beloved son of the late Stanisława and Antoni Kaminski, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Poland, he made Canada his home many years ago and built a full life here.

Joseph was an independent spirit with a generous heart. He loved travelling to warm places and was teaching himself Spanish, filling notebooks with translations. Most of all, he showed up for his family — sponsoring loved ones from Poland and opening his home to them and others, helping many begin new lives in Canada.

He faced Parkinson's disease with quiet courage in his later years. He is survived by his sisters Feliksa Smuzewska and Henryka Krasinska of Poland, and was predeceased by his sister Teresa Malek and his brothers Ryszard Kaminski and Jan Kaminski.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene de Mazenod Church in Brampton on Thursday, October 1 at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Meadowvale Cemetery and Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joseph's memory to Parkinson Canada or a Parkinson's research organization of your choice.
