Passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in his 88th year. Born on December 15, 1938, in Priolo Gargallo, Sicily, to Rosario and Paola Borderi. At age 16, Joe immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he built a life defined by hard work, craftsmanship, and family.

A Master Upholsterer by trade, Joe was the proud owner of the highly respected Vienna Upholstery. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his commitment to his community as a long-standing member of the Toronto Beaches Lions Club.

Beloved husband of Diane (née Glennie). Loving father of Ross, John, Paula (Jason), Carina, and Joey. Cherished "Papa Joe" of Isabella; Jade and Kyra; Garnet and Dalton; Cody, Cooper, and Kyler; and Joseph and Geneva. Reunited in heaven with his sister Josie, brother-in-law Ross Piazza, and niece Mary Jo. Fondly remembered by his nephew Gino (Angie) and extended family and friends.
