John Passed away peacefully at North York General on August 13 at the age of 85.

With heavy hearts and everlasting gratitude, we celebrate the life of John Ginou- a man whose warmth, generous spirit, and unbounded love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. To the world, John was a loyal friend, a steadfast presence, and a dedicated leader. To his family, he was the heart and cornerstone of their lives.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 64 years, Pat, his sister Marion and brother-in-law Rob. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Art (Linda), his daughter Leah (Roy), his grandchildren Chris (Taylor), Connor, Matthew, Andrew, his great-grandson Charlie, nieces and nephews.

John was the proud owner of Art Printing Company alongside his brother, Jim, until his retirement in 2006. Following his retirement, he and Pat spent 15 years enjoying their winters in his cherished destination of Sarasota, Florida. Throughout his life, John was deeply committed to supporting children’s charitable organizations.

In honour of his philanthropic spirit, and in lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to a charitable organization of your choice.
