It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Baba. He passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2025 at the age of 81. He was a loving husband to Awigil (Eva) Baba, a devoted father to Anita Faita and Alan Baba and a loving grandfather to Anthony Faita and Nicole Faita . He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held at The Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East; 161 Skyway Ave, Toronto, ON M9W 1J5 on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 9:30 AM. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with him.
