In memory of
Joan Elizabeth Charnow
September 25, 1932 - April 8, 2026
Born in Toronto September 25th, 1932.
Living with her mother between Toronto and Orillia where her grandmother and cousins lived and Wasaga Beach where she met her tall handsome young man who was to be her husband for 52 years.
They both loved the sun and the sand in Wasaga Beach and when they were a young married couple would work in Toronto in the winter and quit their jobs when summer approached to move to Wasaga Beach, get summer jobs and enjoy the sun and lake.
When they settled and had a house in Toronto they purchased a cottage in Wasaga Beach where they spent weekends and holidays.
She had 3 daughters: Wendy, Robin and Kim, who will miss her greatly but will feel at peace knowing that Joan will rest in peace with her loving husband Roy and her beloved mother Vera.
She also had 7 Grandchildren: Tanya, Jayson, Leah, Justin, Jessica, Sean and Danielle.
And it didn't end there, she was also given 9 great grandchildren.
