With deep sorrow and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Joan Coish (nee Blundon) of Toronto, on April 3, 2025, at the age of 84.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her son, Boyd (Lesley); her sister, Eva (Alton); her sister-in-law, Liz; her brother-in-law, Dave; her nieces, Jeanette (Fernando), Amy (Jonathan), Dawn (Brad), and Carolyn (Ken); her nephews, Dave, Colin (Kimberly); as well as many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Caroline, her beloved husband, Wilson, and her siblings, Maude, Phyllis, Laurie, Carol, and Herbert.

Joan was known for her sharp wit, kind heart, and social nature. She found joy in traveling, the occasional visit to the casino, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

A private cremation will take place, and a memorial service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the scattering of her ashes.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Joan’s memory to one of the following charities that were close to her heart: the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
