Mr. Jaromir Nerad passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family members on June 18,2025. He was recently blessed to celebrate over 75 years of marriage with his beloved wife, the late Elizabeth Nerad. Loving father of Milena, Mike, and Jarmila. Cherished grandfather of Gabriela, Daniela, Patrick, Joseph, Thomas, Christopher, Meghan, Whitney, and Tara. Proud great-grandfather to Clara, Alex, Jaxxon, and Lucas. Brother to [Jiri Nerad and the late Jenda, and Bozena.

Jaromir was born in Nevcehle, Czech Republic on March 21 1933 to his parents Bozena and Jan Nerad. A man of strength, wisdom, and quiet dignity, Jaromir will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his sharp mind, and his love of nature, music, and the simple pleasures of life. His commitment to wellness and natural living, shared by his wife Elizabeth, touched many—family, friends, and even strangers alike.

He found joy in spending time with his large extended family from Canada, the United States, and the Czech Republic. Whether enjoying a long walk, following sports, helping in the kitchen, or sharing stories from his homeland, Jaromir’s presence brought calm and warmth to every room.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of 4 East Valleyview Residence for their compassion and care of Jaromir during his time there. It gave us comfort to know he was in a place he considered home.

As Jaromir is received by God, we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved Elizabeth and all those dear to him who have gone before.

Grandpa, you will live on in our hearts. Your quiet strength, your wisdom, and the lessons you shared will continue to guide us and our children. You were the cornerstone of our family. You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will remain with us always. As God welcomes you with open arms, may perpetual light shine upon you. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
