November 2, 1944 - February 8, 2025
With the deepest sadness we announce the passing of Jan Sobilo on the 8th of February 2025 at the age of 80.
He was a man of wisdom and loyalty, devoted to his wife of 56 years, Maria. He was supportive father to Barbara and Krzysztof (Marzena) and proud grandfather to Aleksandra, Karolina, Konrad and Daniel.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends here and in Poland. His kindness and love will be with us forever.
Friends and family are invited to The Simple Alternative Funeral Home in Mississauga on Wednesday February 12th, 2025, between 4 and 7 PM for visitation. The prayers will take place at 5 PM.
A funeral service will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church on Thursday 13 February at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery immediately following.
