It is with great sadness we announce Ian’s passing at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Mississauga, Thursday July 17, 2025, with family at his side.

Family was his greatest joy, and he leaves behind his loving wife, Glenys, his adored and adoring sons Hagan and Cameron, his grandson Reign, and his daughters-in-law Melanie and Angie.

He also leaves his brother, Robert McCreath and family in Australia, and his brother-in-law Brian Boys and family, in New Zealand. Then too, being something of a global patriarch, he will be lovingly remembered by cousins Doug (Amy) and Grant (Mathilda) McCreath and families in British Columbia, and by cousins Rita, Michael (Libby) and Delia in England.

Ian will be remembered for his quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to all he loved.

A celebration of his life will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road Mississauga L4W 5J1 on Wednesday July 30. Visitation between 10 and 11. Remembrances in the chapel at 11am with reception following.
