Hubert Pui Yue Lee peacefully slipped away in his 89th year, in Richmond Hill, Ontario on August 29. Born in Macau, he was schooled in Hong Kong and Windsor, Canada and achieved his Professional Engineer status in 1964. He held a long career as a civil engineer with Transport Canada and was able to retire early, in 1997. His love of travel, especially on cruises, was evident right until his last days. Movies, animals, reading a good book, and watching sporting events were all things he enjoyed. Cooking for his family and family gatherings were things he cherished. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Grace (née Sing); his children Valentia (David), Vivian (Gordon), Anthony (Glenda), Jennifer (David; predeceased), Mike (Jessica) and Shawn (Laura); his grandchildren Justin (Hanna), Cameron, Andrew (predeceased), Samantha (Maxx), Maya, and Neko, and his beloved sisters, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and their families.
