It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our much loved, husband, father , Nunno, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, Dr. Henry J Sapiano. He left us at age 75, in Georgetown, Ont, March 27, 2026 surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife Grace, loved children, Rachel (Paddy), Jenna, Andrew (Carley) and Matthew, grandchildren Violet, Arthur, Isla and Owen, siblings, Mary (Peter), Lucy, Josephine (Wayne) and John (Ida) Step children Helena (Sean), Anthony(Dragana), and George, step grandchildren James, Alexia, Nicholas, Sophia, Clara and Cameron and all nieces and nephews.

Henry graduated from Windsor University with a doctorate in Chemistry. He went on to have a successful career with Petro Canada (Suncor) in the oil and lubricant industry, managing the Research and Development team in many successful developments. Henry's ideas and aspirations lead him to partnering up with friends and associates Dr, Gamil Alhakimi, and Ted Austin (retired) to successfully operate Canoil Canada Ltd., upon retiring from Suncor. Retirement meant, "What's next" to Henry, not, "Taking it easy" The Sapiano brain couldn't slow down! He will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to join for the visitation and funeral service at Meadowvale Cemetery and Funeral Centre


In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made in Henry's honor to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Credit Valley Hospital or The Georgetown Hospital. Support those who are there for us in our times of need.
