Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in his 91th year.

Beloved husband of Yue Juan Qin.
Cherished father of Michelle (Chuck Yeung) of North York and Mandy (Emil Kiriakos) of Oakville.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Felicia, Douglas, Angelina, Katrina, and Sophia.

Heguan earned both his Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees from Central South University in China, where he later joined the faculty as a professor. Following his academic career, he served as Chief Engineer at the Guangdong Metallurgical Geological Exploration Company, dedicating his professional life to advancing diamond processing technology.

After retirement, Heguan joined his daughters in Canada and embraced a joyful life of travel throughout North America, Europe, Asia, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean.

Friends are welcome to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
