In memory of

Heather Marie Dwinnell

August 2, 1951 - February 6, 2026

Heather Marie Dwinnell, of Oshawa, originally from Midland, passed away peacefully February 6, 2026, at the age of 74.

She has now been reunited in heaven with her husband John Sr, her parents Thomas and Leona Parr and her cherished siblings George, Leona, Patricia (Bernard) and Cathy.

Heather is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Michael and John Jr (Andrea); her cherished grandchildren, Oliver and Nolan; many nieces and nephews (Norman, Joey, Tim, William, Stephen, Heather, Randy and Cynthia) and brother-in-law, Leonard. She will be sadly missed by the many friends she made at Hillsdale Terraces over the years.

Heather was very social, spirited, authentic, and brave, prioritizing her family and friends above all else. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and her love will live on in our hearts forever. Special thanks to the dedicated staff of Hillsdale Terraces for their friendship, compassion and exceptional care during her time there.

A Service and Celebration of Life will be held in Heather’s beloved hometown of Midland, Ontario, details to be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather’s memory are gratefully welcomed by Epilepsy Ontario (visit epilepsyontario.org/donate).
