In memory of

Gordon Robert Peat

June 26, 1941 - March 10, 2026

Gordon Robert Peat, passed away at the age of 84 in Scarborough, Ontario on March 10, 2026. He was a loving father, caring husband, and influenced the lives of so many throughout his career as an educator and in various venues through the church and children’s ministry. He is warmly remembered for his clever sense of humour, but perhaps best known for his incredible musical talent – his voice delivered a message in song that touched the hearts and souls of thousands of people throughout his life, even in his final days.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, of nearly 55 years together, three loving children, and seven grandchildren who endeavor to carry on his gift in music and spirituality. He now rests peacefully with his father, mother, and younger brother, who have been waiting in heaven to reunite with him.

A private Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday, March 14, 2026, with close family members. Extended family and friends are warmly invited to join virtually via Zoom; details can be shared with those wishing to attend.
