It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glenna Eileen Haughie, who passed away peacefully after a long illness and a courageous battle on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at the age of 77.

Glenna was predeceased by her beloved parents, John and Eileen Semple. She will be forever cherished as a devoted mother to Warren (Kathy) and a proud and loving grandmother to Dustyn. Glenna will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Patricia, Valerie, Ian, Glenn, Scott, and John, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends whose lives she touched with her kindness.

A truly gentle and caring soul, Glenna was the heart of her family, a guiding presence and matriarch whose compassion and quiet strength will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, for visitation on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1 – 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. Glenna will then be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery, Section S.
Following the service, all are welcome to join the family at the Funeral Centre to share memories and enjoy light refreshments in celebration of Glenna’s life.
