Gary Leslie Adamson passed away peacefully on the morning of October 2, 2026, at Mount Sinai Hospital, at the age of 83.

Gary was a dedicated teacher and coach at Georges Vanier Secondary School with a lifelong love of sports and History. He also worked with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF). Outside of his career, Gary enjoyed travelling the world with his wife, Susan, and spending time with friends and family.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Susan Adamson; his daughter, Victoria Marquardt; and his son, Jason Adamson (Lily Loo). He was a beloved grandfather to Jessica, Kaitlyn, Nikita, Jade, Emilie, Violet, and Sean, and great-grandfather to eight great-grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
