FUNG KUEN TRUONG, 67, THORNHILL, ON.

It is with deep sadness to announce the sudden passing of Fung Kuen Truong on June 2, 2025 at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital with family by her side. Beloved mother to Jessica Truong, Stanley Truong and Eddie Truong; wife to Say-Chi Truong; Grandmother to Sebastian Kong-Truong; daughter, mother-in-law, sister to seven siblings, aunt, relative and friend to many.

Fung Kuen Truong was born on March 4, 1958 in Hong Kong, China to Poon Chun Bun and Wong Kwan into a large family with seven siblings. She immigrated to Canada in 1987 with her husband with a dream to give her future children new opportunities for a fruitful and prosperous life. She was a dedicated stay-at-home mom and housewife for most of her life and retired as a general labourer in 2023.

Fung Kuen was an exceptional homecook and a talented seamstress. She was a deeply spiritual Buddhist who prayed daily and gave generously back to her community. She exemplified humility, grace and did all things with unconditional love.

Fung Kuen Truong's visitation and funeral will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 9:00AM.
