With profound sadness, but immense gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Evelyn, at the age of 106.
She was an exceptional woman, whose life spanned more than a century, touching countless lives along the way.
Our mother possessed a combination of strength, kindness, grace, wisdom, and warmth.
Evelyn was the beloved wife of the Late George McGowan, with whom she shared many years of life, love and family. Their life together was an important part of the wonderful legacy she leaves behind.
For our family, we have a lifetime of memories, conversations, many challenges, but also lots of laughter.
Evelyn’s daughters, Pam and Donna, are especially thankful to her incredible private caregivers who became such an important part of their mother’s life over the past ten years. They offered companionship, patience, and genuine love. They brought comfort and joy to her days. Thank you Beth, along with Crystal and Maura.
As a family, we are grateful for having been able to share so many years with her and knowing she was deeply loved.
She will be remembered by family and all those whose lives she touched over the many years.
