He was a loving husband to Sung Won Bae, and a cherished father to Lawrence and Austin Bae. He was also a beloved father-in-law to Eun Joo Ko and Jennifer Bae. Richard was a proud and devoted grandfather to Aiden, Renee, Naomi, Mina, and Noah Bae.

Dong Ho was born in Busan, South Korea, the eldest of four brothers. A proud graduate from Hongik University, he started his career as an artist, pouring his creativity and passion into his work. In 1976, he made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada in search of a better life, so that future generations could have greater opportunities.

He dedicated many years of his career to Bell, where he worked as one of their artists, and later found fulfillment as a proud business owner. Above all, Richard lived his life as a faithful and loving Christian, sharing kindness and compassion with everyone he met.

He will be missed deeply by his family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of God.
