In Loving Memory of Donald Nathaniel Coburn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Nathaniel Coburn, affectionately known as Don, Mister Don, Deego, Grandpa, Uncle Donald, and, most importantly, Dad.

Born to Doris Edwards and James Coburn on July 5, 1938, Don passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in the arms of his loving wife, Fay.

Donald was a devoted husband, a loving father of 10, a cherished grandfather of 19, and a proud great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.

He was a dear friend whose presence brought laughter, love, and unforgettable memories to everyone who knew him.

Deego was passionate about his liquor collection and his extensive record collection. Every Sunday, he could be found in his music room and bar, playing classic reggae while friends and family dropped by for games of Ludi, dominoes, good food, and great company. He was well known for his exceptional cooking and for the sayings that always brought a smile to everyone's face, including "One Love," "Cool Runnings," and "Let's see how the monkey jumps."

Don's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially during gatherings filled with laughter, delicious food, music, and cherished memories.

Don is survived by his beloved wife, Fay; his children Elaine, Tony, Donna, Pauline, Michael, Andrea, Raymond, and Joseph; and his sisters Violet, Edith, and Queenie.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle; his son, Everton; his brothers Gilbert ("Bertie"), Kenneth, and Rudolph; his sisters Joycee and Beverly; and his parents, Doris and James.

Don's love for his family, his generosity, his sense of humor, and his vibrant spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
