We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Don Zacharopoulos on July 20th, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving and very proud father of Julian and Ben. He will be dearly missed by Brenda, mother of his sons and best friend. Don will remain forever in the hearts of his sister Melissa, brother-in-law Cesar, niece Kira (Joel) and nephew Matthew.

Unconventional and curious by nature, Don indulged in a wide variety of pursuits with exceeding devotion. He was a masterful artist and extraordinary designer, with an exceptional eye for detail. He had a fierce passion for golf which provided him with hours of enjoyment and frustration, fostering many enduring friendships. As a music enthusiast from a very young age, he was a concert goer and the ideal moderator for a number of DJs on Twitch in later years, where he was fondly known as DonnyZac. Don was a true sports fanatic, serving as a spirited hockey goalie for many years and loved games of all kinds. He was an aspiring real estate agent when life was cut short. Nothing made him happier than being sharply dressed, surrounded by family and friends in the pursuit of fun, while entertaining others with his clever play on words. He will be missed immeasurably and more than he ever imagined.

A Memorial will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd on Saturday, August 8th beginning with visitation at 1:30 pm, service at 2 pm followed by burial and reception. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in support of Bladder Cancer research. Link to follow.
