It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Diana Lun on February 27, 2026.
She touched the lives of so many with her profound kindness, generosity, graciousness, creativity, and intellect. She selflessly shared her love and devotion as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and colleague.

Diana is survived by her loving children Dr. Joyce Lun, Lisa Lun, and Gordon Lun; in Canada, by her brother-in-law’s Dr. S.Y. Lai and Jil Lung Tong, sister Wendy Tong, brothers Raymond So (Lillian) and Ron So (Rita); nieces and nephews: Dr. Lillian Lai (Dr. Sonny Dhanani), Selina Lai Hamilton (Jerry), Gordon Lai, Tong Wai (Isabella), David Tong (Ronalyn), MaryAnne Tong (Kevin), Vincent So (Carrie), Dr. Jonathan So (Dr. Sophia Lee), and eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and by many relatives in Hong Kong, Australia, and United States.

Diana is predeceased by her beloved husband Don Robert Lun; her parents William So and Shuen Ki Yip; and her sisters Eleanor Lai and Chi-Kuen Tong.

A teacher by profession in Hong Kong and in North York’s Heritage Language Program, Diana took great pride in teaching young children about their heritage. She loved arts & crafts, cooking, baking, traveling on cruises, and playing golf. Her many colorful stories and memories will forever be cherished in all our hearts.
