David Edward Pamenter sadly passed away on August 3rd, 2026, at age 58, leaving a legacy of deep love, devotion to family, and an unshakeable passion for life’s simple pleasures.
A Life of Passion and Connection
Family First: David cared deeply for his family. He spent 29 wonderful years married to his wife, Sarv. He was a proud and loving father to his children, Prem and Samantha.
Sports Fanatic: He was an active football enthusiast. He spent many weekends cheering on his favourite NFL teams or predicting outcomes with his passionate comrades who shared his interests. Expanding the love of sport with his kids, he coached both soccer and softball teams for his son and daughter. He also loved hitting the fairway for a round or two of golf whenever possible with a great friend of many years.
Curious Mind: He kept a sharp eye on world affairs. He maintained an active, lifelong interest in politics and recent events, anticipating how they would shape our current and future global economic environment. He was a true leader and advocate for freedom of thought and expression.
Career Focus: With his economic background and analytical mindset, David focused his career in Finance, holding several service-related leadership positions and later pursuing regulatory compliance.
Soundtrack of Life: Classic rock and roll was his constant companion. He frequently listened to legendary tracks from AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, RUSH, The Who, and many more.
Simple Pleasures: David was an active gardener in recent years, growing many wonderful herbs and hearty vegetables every year. He loved being surrounded by nature, and planned for holidays to ensure that, as well as many family camping trips with close friends.
His unmatched wit, charm, and unforgettable laughter were unique to him and like no other.
Family Lineage
Survived By: His devoted spouse, Sarv Pamenter; his eldest son, Prem Pamenter; and his daughter, Samantha Pamenter.
Immediate Family: His loving sister, Terri Lynne Wheeler (Jane Pamenter); mother, Jean Pamenter; his father, Don Pamenter; and his step-mother, Jackie Pamenter.
Extended Family: His loving brother-in-law Mohan (Mo) Chohan and family; sister-in-law Babita and Gurjeet Singh and family; and deeply caring aunt Tirath Kaur. Also loved and remembered by uncle Fred Pamenter and his family.
David was surrounded by love and will remain close to us in our hearts eternally.
