Daniel Keoshkerian (92) was born in Cairo, Egypt, on May 3, 1932 and passed away on April 1, 2025, in Toronto, Canada.

Daniel was the fifth child of Artin and Nouritza Keoshkerian. He was predeceased by his siblings, George, Angel, Ohanes, Mary, Movses, and Rakel.

He was first married to his beloved Manoushag, with whom he had his eldest son, Vaughn. Following Manoushag's passing, he found love again with Veronica, and together they welcomed daughter, Sylva and son, Arthur.

His family grew to include cherished grandchildren: Aaron and Sarah, children of Sylva and Hany; Noah and Hannah, children of Vaughn; and Christopher and Rachel, children of Arthur and Alenoosh.

His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Otis, Eliza and Lewis, born to Hannah and Reuben; Ari and Raffi, born to Aaron and Lauren; and Zoe, born to Sarah and Mark.

In Egypt, he was an active part-owner of a family textile manufacturing business. After immigrating to Canada in 1963, he worked as a welder, then bus driver with the TTC, until his retirement.

Daniel’s character and faith were formed by the example of his parents, who were survivors of the Armenian Genocide. All who knew Daniel knew of his deep Christian faith. It was expressed in his active church participation and continually modelled to his family and others.
