It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Constantinos Gouvatsos who was called by God peacefully on Friday March 6th at the age of 94.

Born in Greece, Constantinos came to Canada and built a life defined by hard work and dedication to family.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife Maria, his children, Cathrine (David) , Louis and his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Christine), Andrew, Constantine Michael and Nikki, and his extended family members.

Those who knew him will remember his delicious barbecues , always accompanied by a cold beer, his strength, his bountiful garden and his gift of making us always laugh. His love for his family and friends will remain a lasting legacy.

The Visitation will take place at Sts. Panteleimon, Anna & Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church of Markham (11323 Warden Ave., Markham, ON L6C 1M9) on Friday, March 13th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Sts. Panteleimon, Anna & Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church of Markham on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scarborough General Hospital in his memory. The family would like to thank the hospital staff for their compassionate care and ensuring he was comfortable till the end.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered.
