It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Cilka Jansa on October 5, 2026, at the age of 93.

She will be forever missed by her beloved Husband, Josef with whom she shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories. Cilka was a loving and devoted mother to her dear children. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Terry (Marie) and Debbie (Louie), who will forever cherish the love, memories, and special moments they shared with her. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved son, Borot (Petra).

She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Christopher (Brianne), Keith (Kayla), Lauren (Nathan), Nicholas (Deanna), Julie, Shannon and Cameron who brought tremendous happiness and joy into her life. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Hunter, Hadley, and Nash, who she loved dearly.

She will be forever held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends, and her memory will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched.

Visitations will take place at the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre (1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill) on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 12:30p.m.- 1:30p.m. A Funeral Service will follow on the same date at 1:30p.m.
Interment to follow at the Elgin Mills Cemetery in Section 27.
