After a life marked by resilience, strength, and unwavering faith, Chu Chan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Canton, China, she experienced both love and hardship from a young age. Following the passing of her father, she moved with her family to Hong Kong, where she endured the difficulties of wartime and took on great responsibility early in life to help support her loved ones. Through determination and perseverance, she overcame these challenges and built a life centered on family.

She later married her beloved husband, who predeceased her, and together they raised their children with love, care, and strong values. After his passing, she continued to lead the family with quiet strength, always putting her children first and supporting them through every stage of life, including their journey to begin new lives in Canada. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, devoting herself wholeheartedly to caring for her five grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

In her later years, she found deep comfort and peace in her faith. She remained devoted in her belief, often expressing gratitude for God’s goodness and drawing strength from prayer and fellowship. Even as her health declined, her faith remained steadfast, reflecting a life grounded in grace and devotion.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength that carried her through life’s many challenges. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love touched all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Larry, Eliza (Raymond), and Karen (Chi Kong); and her cherished grandchildren, Ezra, Sheila (Michael), Tiffany, Sharon (Brandon), and Austin, along with extended family and friends.
