It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christos (Chris) Vlachopoulos, who died peacefully on January 11, 2025, at the age of 79.

Chris was predeceased by his loving parents Georgios and Iordana Vlachopoulos and his siblings Vangelina, Vasilka and Micho. He is survived by his beloved sister, Rose Karafilidis (George) and will be dearly missed by his nieces Violet Klashoff (Chris), Mary Tsoraklidis (Bobby) and Diana Johnson (Michael). Also, his nieces and nephews, Stoja, Kristina, Vasilis and Tasho abroad. Dedo Risto will be especially missed by his grand nieces and nephews, Anthony, Aleksandar & Ashley Klashoff, Elizabeth Tsoraklidis and Jacob, Nolan and Hailey Johnson.

Family and friends are invited to Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough for visitation on Thursday January 16, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre on Friday January 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Pine Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated by the family.
