It is with heavy hearts and much love that we mourn the passing of Carmen Tse (Fa EE), on August 28th, 2025, at the age of 59 years.

After a courageous two-year journey with lung cancer, Carmen spent her final month in the ICU, surrounded each day by the love of her family, the presence of dear friends, and thoughts and prayers from around the world. She met every challenge with remarkable strength, grace and dignity.

Known affectionally as Fa EE or Fa Por Por, Carmen was a devoted mother, a wife, sister and friend. She gave endlessly to those around her - always putting others before herself. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will be remembered forever.

We choose to remember Carmen not for how her life ended, but for the vibrancy with which she lived it. Her memory lives on in the songs she loved to sing, whether around the house, in the car or on stage; in her animated storytelling that could turn every day moments into captivating memories; and in the legendary cheesecakes and tiramisus she delighted in sharing.

Carmen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Wallace; her two daughters, Kinny and Wonny; as well as many relatives and lifelong friends in both Hong Kong and Canada.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, from 9am to 11 am at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres. Details are provided below.

The family extends our deepest gratitude to the compassionate CrCU staff at North York General Hospital, whose care and kindness provided comfort not only to Carmen but also to her loved ones during her time in the ICU.
