It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cherry Yin Tai Lue, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, at the age of 96.

Cherry was a deeply loving and social person who brought warmth and companionship to the many people around her. She was a true people person and a socialite who loved meeting others, making friends, and enjoying good company. She was blessed with many friends throughout her life and cherished the connections she made with those in her life.

Cherry was the beloved wife of Freddy Lue and a devoted mother to Jean, Leonard, and Angela. She was a deeply loved grandmother to Wesley, Melissa, Stanley, Tristan, Jennifer, Jerry, Eddie, and Jessica, and was blessed to see her family grow to include 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She shared a special bond with each generation of her family, and her love touched them in ways that will never be forgotten. They will forever carry with them the memories, laughter, lessons, and special moments they shared with her.

In her later years, Cherry lived at Mark Haven Seniors Home, where she continued to enjoy the company of others. One of the things she especially enjoyed was the excitement of the casino, reflecting her fun-loving and adventurous spirit.

Cherry leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, grandchildren, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest peacefully, surrounded forever by the love she gave so freely to others.
