It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Cecilia Costa Raposo, at the age of 82. Cecilia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Luis, and is survived by her children Luis (Cristina), Elizabeth (Trevor), and Susan (Catherine). Cecilia was the cherished Vavó (grandmother) to Rachel, Christian, Cole, and Sunny, and a loving Bisavó (great-grandmother) to Olivia, Duncan, and Evelyn.

Cecilia was a devoted wife who was hardworking and generous in all that she did. She loved the outdoors and took great joy in gardening. She will be fondly remembered for her sewing and knitting skills, and she will be thought of every time we wrap ourselves in her lovingly handmade blankets.

She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
