Carlo Calalay Sayo
September 8, 1968 - April 30, 2026
It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear Carlo Calalay Sayo; father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Carlo went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at the age of 57.
Carlo is predeceased by his late spouse, Edna.
Carlo is also predeceased by his late parents; Cesar Concepcion Sayo Jr. & Rosita Calalay Sayo; and his nephew Gabriel Nicole Martinez.
Carlo is survived by his children and their spouses Mark Anthony (Roxanne), Shiela May (Jojie), and Michaella (Raffy); his grandchildren Kiesha Alexys, Janah, Josh Rhaine, Elijah Sistine, Brianna, & Brielle; his great-grandchildren Adam & Dhaveign; and his siblings Carol, Cathy (Nick), Cherry (Edwin), and Cesar (Gladys).
Carlo is also leaving behind his nieces, nephews, and the many friends he made along the way.
Our family continues to ask for prayers, thoughts, and support in any way.
It is a very challenging time for the entire family, but Carlo can finally rest in the loving arms of our Lord. No more pain, no more tears. Far from the struggles this earthly journey may sometimes bring.
We are grateful for the grand reunion he is experiencing with his father and his mother; in the presence of our Almighty Creator. We are grateful for the endless laughter Carlo brought into our lives.
Carlo will always be remembered by his family and friends; he will forever live on in our hearts and in our memories.
Please join us in celebrating and honoring his life. His body will lay for Visitation at 111 Tayug Street, San Juan City. Dates are yet to be determined. His interment will also be announced at a later date and time.
To our beloved Carlo, Rest in Peace! We will miss you. Pahinga na ikaw. Until me weet again…
