Born in Cambodia, he had a very happy childhood and was a devoted son and brother.
He lived in Laos and Thailand, married and had five children.
He and his family came to Canada over forty years ago during a time of war and upheaval in his homeland and surrounding countries. He was eternally grateful to the members of the Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church for sponsoring his family and proudly celebrated Canada Day every year.
He enjoyed travelling, singing, basketball and socializing with family and friends. Last year, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Belgium to see his sister and her family and of watching the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He worked for many years for Hayes Dana auto parts manufacturer. He was an active member of the Chao Chow Association of Ontario Canada and the Lao Chinese Association of Ontario. He is survived by his wife and five children and six grandchildren.
