Barbara Munce (née Wilson)
1929 – September 26, 2026

Barbara Munce passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born Barbara Wilson, she was the youngest of 12 children in the Wilson clan and later became the last of her generation of the numerous Munce clan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Earl Munce.

Barbara is lovingly remembered by her daughter Cindy Caissie and her husband Roger Caissie, and her son Rick Munce and his wife Leslie Wallace-Munce. She was a devoted grandmother to Darryl Caissie and Sean Caissie (Ingrid), and to Rebecca Munce and Connor Munce, and took great joy in spending time with her great-granddaughter, Bridget.

In her younger years, Barbara was an accomplished dart player and enjoyed many spirited games with friends and family.

Though she didn’t quite make the century mark we all hoped for, Barbara lived a full and meaningful life, marked by warmth, resilience, and deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed.
