With heavy hearts, our family announces the peaceful passing of Barbara Joan Murray on September 1st, 2026. Barbara now rests peacefully with George, her partner and best friend of 60 years.

Barbara was born in Toronto, December 19, 1942. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Mary White.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her children, Kent (Donna) and Leslie; her grandchildren, Nicole (Ricardo) and Kristen (Hailey), of whom she was immensely proud; and her great-grandchildren, Enzo, Aria, and Emma, whom she loved spending time with and adored dearly.

She will also be fondly remembered by the many friends and loved ones she gathered along the way, whose lives she touched and whose company she cherished throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON on September 17th, 2026. Visitation at 1:30 pm, Celebration at 2:00 pm, onsite reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Diabetes Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your favourite animal charity.
