It is with profound love and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andromachi Fourkiotis, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose strength, generosity, and warmth shaped the lives of everyone who knew her.

Born in St. Christopher, Greece, Andromachi carried the spirit of her homeland with her throughout her life. In 1967, she courageously journeyed with her late husband Ioannis to Canada to build a new future for her family.

Andromachi was the loving mother of Maria (Manuel) and Demetri (Glenda), the cherished grandmother of John, Andrew (Tearsa), and Yanni, and great grandmother to April and Demetri. Her greatest joy was caring for her family—cooking meals that brought everyone together, where she shared stories, and offered guidance.

She treasured her summers in Greece with her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She cherished traditions, and the beauty of the place that shaped her. Those moments brought her peace and happiness, and they remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Andromachi’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. We will carry her memory in our hearts and honour her through the values she lived every day—family, generosity, and love.

We imagine her stepping peacefully into God’s embrace, her spirit lifted by the prayers of those who loved her most. May the angels welcome her with open arms, and may her journey be gentle, filled with the warmth, kindness, and strength she shared with us every day.
