Andelko Kovacevic passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario, just one day before his 90th birthday.

Born on July 27, 1936 in Ponikve, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Marko and Staka Kovacevic, Andelko carried the values of hard work, and family with him his entire life.

A skilled welder, Andelko built a life with his own two hands. He took great pride in his craft and in providing for his family. He was known for his quiet strength, steady nature, and the care he put into everything he did.

Family meant everything to Andelko. He shared a lifetime of love with his beloved wife, Vukosava. Together they raised two wonderful children, Bob and Branka, and cherished their four grandchildren: Mark, Kristopher, Michael, and Damian. He was so proud of them all.

He leaves behind his loving wife Vukosava; his children Bob and Brooke; his grandchildren Mark, Kristopher, Micheal, and Damian, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. Andelko is reunited with his parents, Marko and Staka. His brother Nedelko; and his sisters Savka, Dusanka, Ranka, Zorka, Vinka, and Julka.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love and example he set for all who knew him.
