In memory of

Allan Taylor Babcock

May 15, 1938 - January 4, 2026

The family of Allan Taylor Babcock is profoundly saddened to announce his passing on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87.

Allan passed peacefully after a lengthy illness with Clara, his devoted wife of 68 years, by his side.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Clara, son James (Kimberley), grandchildren Jason (Kristen) and Stephanie (Thomas). Remembered also by Johnathon, Danielle, Roxanne and Allan.
Predeceased by son Douglas, parents Clarence and Elsie, and sister Emma.

Allan was born in Shearstown, Newfoundland on May 15, 1938. He brought his family to Ontario in 1962 where he forged his career as a master carpenter and then as a construction superintendent. Some of his notable work included Toronto City Hall and the famous Flyer at the C.N.E.

Allan was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was always there to lend a hand to family and friends alike and will be sadly missed by many. He was a man of great faith.

Many thanks to the staff of Strathhaven in Bowmanville for their loving, compassionate care for both Allan and his family.

Interment will take place at a later date.
