In Loving Memory: Honouring our Beloved Father, Dr. Zhao Hu Wang

Our father was our hero, our role model, our champion, our rock, our everything. We miss him every second of every day and we will remember him forever, we love you dad. Our father is and will be our living breathing superhero. Thank you for being there every day with just the love and guidance we needed. Everything you've taught us has stuck with us and we are lucky to have a father like you. Dad, you have given us the best things in life: Your time, your care, and your love. We are truly grateful to have you in our life. Love from your daughter, Ding Yan Wang and your son, Dong Hao Wang.

Dr. Zhao Hu Wang, 86, the eldest son of Dr. Ming Hui Wang (a Medical Surgeon in the 19th Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army) and Ms. Pei Xiang Chen (Graduated from Shanghai Women's University, Fujian Normal School). He had one older sister, two younger sisters, and four younger brothers. We are deeply saddened to share his unexpected passing on September 19, 2024 due to heart disease.

Dr. Zhao Hu Wang obtained his M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) in the Medical School of ShanTou University in 1959. He is one of the best Osteopathic Surgeons of in Lain Zhou Hospital, Guang Dong, China from 1960-1986. From 1980-1981, he obtained his special training in the department of cardiothoracic surgeon in Sun Yet Sen University in Medical Science in Guangzhou, China, and had excellent skills in performing organ surgeries in the chest, such as heart, lungs, and esophagus. From 1986 to 2009, he had been working in Yongan Hospital, Foshan, Guang Dong as one of the excellent general surgeon. Dr. Zhao Hu Wang not only exhibits extraordinary technical skills, but much he valued his mentors, provide exceptional knowledge of medicine, diseases, and human relationships.

Dr. Zhao Hu Wang was humble and endowed with ability to create and nurture a team with empathy and sharing in human suffering. He had tremendous dedication, and an ultimate love and care for his patients, his family, friends, and for humanity at large. Dr. Zhao Hu Wang not only an excellent osteopathic surgeon, chest surgeon, general surgeon, but also excellent in Chinese transitional medicine, such as acupuncture.

Dr. Zhao Hu Wang married Dr. Liling Deng and have one daughter, Ding Yan Wang and one son, Dong Hao Wang. Dr. Zhao Hu Wang and his wife immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2010. He was very proud of his daughter's success in obtaining her MD & PhD in medical sciences as well as his son’s achievements in computer science as a college professor. Dr. Wang has been fully supporting Sun Life Gene Academic Medical Science Research Program as advisory director since 2016. Zhao Hu Wang lived his best life, and fulfilled his goals and dreams.

Dr. Zhao Hu Wang is survived by his wife, Li Leng Deng, his children: Allina Ding Yan and Dong Hao, and his grandchildren: Jamie and Xuan. He was also blessed to connect with four of his biological brothers: Zhao Long, Zhao Bao, Jie Wen, Jie Bin, and two sisters Zhao Feng and Li Yu. Dr. Zhao Hu Wang loved his family, his dear wife, his children, grandchildren, and his brother and sisters. He will always live in our lives with the Lord Jesus.

汪兆虎医师,88, 是汪铭輝军醫师（國民革命軍十九路軍軍醫）與陳佩香女士（毕业于上海女子大学，福健师范学校）的長子，他有 1 個姊姊、2 個妹妹和 4 個弟弟。我们深感悲痛地告诉您，他于2024年9月19日因心脏病意外去世。

汪兆虎醫師於1959年在汕頭醫學院毕业获医师资格。再在中山医学院附属医院进修深造骨外科专业和中西医结合骨科。1960-1986年汪兆虎医师是连州人民医院骨外科最有名专家之一。曾入选世界名医名录。 汪兆虎1980-1981录入中國廣州中山醫科大學心胸外科專業進修，對心臟、肺、食道等胸部器官的外科手術具有精湛的技術。 1986年至2009年在廣東佛山永安醫院工作，是優秀普外科醫生之一。汪兆虎医师不僅表現出非凡的技術技能，而且非常重視他的導師，提供了醫學、疾病和人際關係方面的卓越知識。汪兆虎為人謙虛，有能力創造和培養一支具有同理心、分擔人類苦難、奉獻精神、最終充滿愛的團隊，為病人、為家人、為朋友、為整個人類。汪兆虎醫師不僅在整骨外科醫師、胸腔外科醫師、普外科方面有出色的造詣，而且在針灸等中醫中西医结合方面也很出色。
汪兆虎医师與鄧麗玲医师結婚，育有一女汪玎妍和一子汪东昊。汪兆虎医师為女兒成功獲得醫學博士和博士學位感到非常自豪，並於2010年與妻子移民到加拿大多倫多。2016年以来一直在多伦多致力帮扶担任SUN LIFE GENE 医学科研培教事业顾问董事。汪兆虎度过了成功幸福快乐的人生旅程。
汪兆虎医师愛他的家人、他亲爱的妻子,女兒,兒子, 孙女,孙儿和他亲爱的兄弟姐妹。他將永遠活在我们生命里和主耶稣同在。
