Our beloved mother and grandmother, Zeljka Osvald, passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 73, after a lengthy health battle, joining her husband Bruno in the eternal home.

Zeljka was born on December 18, 1949 in the city of Berane, Montenegro where she spent most of her childhood. She finished high-school and post-secondary education in Pristina, Yugoslavia. Shortly after meeting her husband Bruno in the 1970s, she moved to the city of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she had a joyful life until 1992 when the family moved to Belgrade, Serbia. In 1998 she moved to Rockwall, Texas, USA, where she and her husband settled until 2008 when they decided to move to Toronto, Canada.

Her life was filled with happiness, love and dedication to her late husband Bruno, children Boris and Tamara, grandchildren Goran and Mia and her daughter in-law Aleksandra and many extended family and close friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31 at 1pm followed with burial at 3pm at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd. in Toronto.
