In memory of

Zbigniew Noworolski

May 30, 1936 -  April 18, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Zbigniew Noworolski, at the age of 86. Zbigniew passed away peacefully in Toronto. He was the Loving husband of Barbara, beloved father of Mark (Sue), and grandfather of Adam and Logan.

Zbigniew had a sense of adventure, traveling much of the world with his family, and will be missed by relatives and friends all around the world. He will be fondly remembered for love and devotion to his wife and family, his sense of humor, and his creative engineering skills and out-of-the-box thinking. He inspired many people around him to be adventurous, hard working, and also independent thinkers.

Zbigniew, along with his family, is a multi-country immigrant, living in Poland, then Austria and then finally settling in Canada where he eventually formed his own company. He was a lifelong member of the IEEE and both organized and attended technical conferences around the world.

A special thank you to the care he received at Copernicus Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Copernicus Lodge, Toronto (https://www.copernicuslodge.com/ ). See the 'Donate' link at the top of the page.

SO many memories tie us together - from Marek & Sue’s wedding, to Zbyszek’s wild windsurfing, to our trip to New Orleans and other IEEE meets, to our husbands’ joining up together for Infobatt, to annual parties at our houses, to bragging about our respective grandchildren. Our lives have been intertwined for many years. No regrets. Tons of joy!
