December 20, 1946 -  February 14, 2025

Yvonne Agatha Galloway died peacefully at her home on the morning of February 14, 2025. She was 78 years old.
Yvonne was born in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies on December 20, 1946 to Allison Burt and Cinric Galloway. Throughout her life she would reference their teachings and stories.

Yvonne served at Rubbermaid Canada located in Mississauga, Ontario for over 30 years until her retirement. She was active in the Etobicoke and Mississauga communities. She delighted in helping strangers and made many friends.

Yvonne was the devoted mother of a son, Sean Galloway who predeceased her in 2023. A cherished sister, a loving aunt, a caring family member and a faithful friend.

Yvonne is lovingly remembered and missed by her siblings Elaine Hobson, Athill Jeffers, Doris Isles and Edgar Galloway, many nieces and nephews including Stephen Hobson, Elizabeth Hobson-Powell, Janis Hensley-Ritenberg, Norine Brown, Marc Hensley, Paula Galloway, Warren Jeffers, Hugo Isles, Shelley Isles, Roxanne Isles and many other family members and friends including the Galloway, Burt, Edmeade, Dickenson, Isles, Hobson and Hensley families in Canada, the United Kingdom, United States of America and St. Kitts-Nevis and the wider Caribbean.

In addition to charity, Yvonne enjoyed music, singing, dancing, art and comedy. She was a prolific artist who produced many drawings, crafts and paintings.
Yvonne delighted in young people and children from whom she drew much inspiration for her art work.
Her faith, singing and laughter will be sorely missed.

Auntie Yvonne will be sorely missed. As a child I remember when my mother was looking for a place to live in Toronto after moving out of Montreal and we stayed with Aunties Doris and Yvonne. Auntie Yvonne was always so kind and full of life. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the life she lived and appreciate the effect she had on all of our lives. She is reunited with her sonπŸ˜” Rest Peacefully Auntie β€οΈπŸ˜”πŸŒΉπŸ™πŸΎ
