It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yun Kwai Lee on August 13, 2025, at the age of 88. He was a beloved husband to Choi, a dedicated father to Wendy, Keith and Wayne, and a cherished grandfather to William.

In 1969, Yun and Choi made the bold decision to immigrate from China to Canada to provide their young family with a brighter future. Eventually settling in Toronto, they worked tirelessly together, building a prosperous life and creating opportunities for their children.

Yun was a skilled machinist who rose to become a foreman at his shop. Outside of work, he found joy in music, often singing along to his favourite Chinese opera. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying NBA, hockey, and soccer, and he also loved a good game of Mahjong. Known for his spirited personality and opinions, Yun always enjoyed lively discussions about current events with daughter-in-law, Mabel, and his nephews, Manson, Henry and Tom.

He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on with his family and friends.
